DAF Trumpet Banner and Schellenbaum Flag #15790
Description
Matching banner (48x48 cm) and flag (30x29 cm) are both double-sided bright red wool, multi piece construction with 4.5 cm silver/aluminum wire fringe on three sides. Applied to the obverse is the DAF national emblem with “Betriebszelle der Gothaer Waggonfabr.A.G.” embroidered in white cloth thread forming a ¾ circle around emblem with “Gotha” embroidered centrally underneath. Reverse has “Die Gothas” centrally embroidered in white cloth thread. Banner complete with two plated steel hanging clips attached by a black cloth loop. Flag retains plated steel crossbar, two silver aluminum tassels and silver aluminum prescribed hanger. Both pieces exhibit wear with minor moth damage. Excellent Plus!
