Description

Deputy Gauleiter Brownshirt with embroidered collar tabs for Befehlsleiter. The blood order ribbon is correctly period sewn on. There is padding within the shirt above the right shoulder, indicating the owner may have had a should injury or defect. Signs of wear to the material as shown, medals not included, out of my personal collection. A previous owner's family had a gas station on the local interstate in PA back in the 1960's and 70's. Out in front of the station they had a big sign which read: "Buying War Souvenirs--Will Trade For Gas". Many years ago, during their heyday they were buying militaria constantly. This was acquired directly from the veteran in this way.
