Description

These 3 tokens were produced right after the Putsch in 1924, while Hitler was still in prison. They are made out of terra cotta clay in the likeness of Ernst Pöhner, Ludendorff, and Hitler. Each one is approx. 40mm (Hitler), 42mm (Ludendorrf), 41mm (Pöhner) , the size variance probably due to clay shrinkage. The reverse of Hitler reads, "Ich/Fuhle Mich Als/Bester Deutscher, Der/Das Beste Fur Das Deutsche/Volk Gewollt hat./Tausend Nationale/Haben Das Recht, Einer/Mehrheit Gegenuber,/Die Nation Zu/Vertreten." (I feel that I am the best German who wants the best for the German People. A thousand patriot have the right of the majority to represent the Nation."
