Description
“Nationalsozialistisches Fliegerkorps 19. Rhön-Segelflug-Wettbewerb 1938” , indicating this was awarded for achievement in a glider competition. The reverse inscription translates to “In lock step with our Führer, we fly for our eternal Germany,” with the signature of NSFK leader General der Flieger Friedrich Christiansen and numbered "446". Medallion is approx. 95mm x 77mm, case is in excellent condition.
