Generalmajor Otto Richter Tunic. Richter was a career military man who served in both wars. This field service tunic was made in 1937 while he was a major of engineering, he never upgraded the front buttons to gilt. Breast eagle is a fine example of bullion and nylon, fine quality heavy wool tunic in excellent condition. Briefly commanded the 198th Infantry Division before he was captured in France. Well decorated officer, awarded the German Cross in Silver. This tunic was purchased in 1960 and remained in the same collection since. The correspondence between that seller and buyer will be included.
